Is it allowed to download a Roblox shirt template?
Looking at a template to learn how it’s made, or backing up your own items, is fine. Uploading someone else’s design as your own breaks Roblox’s rules and the creator’s rights, and Roblox removes those items.
Does it work for t-shirts and pants?
Yes. It works for all three kinds of classic clothing: shirts, pants and t-shirts. A t-shirt comes back as its square picture.
Why doesn’t it work for this item?
It only works for classic clothing. 3D layered clothing, accessories and bundles have no 2D template. It also fails if the item was taken down, or if Roblox isn’t serving the file at that moment.
Is there a limit?
One item at a time, and a daily limit per visitor so the tool stays fast for everyone.
